The Doctor let out a tired sigh and rubbed the back of his neck. He wasn’t tired – a Time Lord didn’t need much sleep – but he was tired. He’d lost count of the number of times he’d found himself on the front line of a battle to save the universe, but this was … different, somehow. And not just because they were fighting to save every universe.
